Through her clinical experience, Dr. Veksler’s approaches are collaborative with the client, short term and solution focused. She instills hope while remaining authentic, objective, and empathic, and creates a safe environment for individuals to express themselves. She is flexible in adapting treatment to each client’s needs and goals.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy & Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy

These techniques help client’s understand the connection between thoughts, feelings and actions.

Clinical Experience

  • Dr. Veksler has over 8 years of experience providing assessment, treatment planning and psychotherapy for individuals, children, couples and families in both non-profit and private practice settings.
  • Her most recent experience has been at a non-profit agency which is contracted by the Department of Mental Health. Here, Dr. Veksler works with a wide range of clients dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, domestic violence, gender dysphoria, personality disorders to name a few.

Languages

Juliana has a bi-cultural upbringing and is fluent and able to provide services in both English and Russian.

Credentials

  • Doctorate in Applied Clinical Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
  • Licensed as a Marriage and Family therapist in the state of California.
  • Masters of Arts in Clinical Psychology with an Emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University.
