Insurance Options

Presently, Juliana Veksler accepts the following insurance plans:

Aetna
American Behavioral
Health Net

If your plan is issued through one of the above carriers and you have outpatient mental health benefits, then services will be covered at an in-network rate. You are responsible for your co-payment, which is due at the time of service by cash, check, or credit card.

Out of Network

If your plan is issued through a different carrier and you have out-of-network mental health benefits, then generally your insurance company will pay for services at the out-of-network rate. Payment is due at the time of service, regardless of whether your insurer will reimburse for the session or not. You are given monthly statements which you may choose to submit to your insurance provider for out-of network coverage.

These plans include any PPO plans, such as Blue Shield and United.

When speaking with your insurance company, you may wish to ask the following question

- Do I have outpatient mental health benefits?
- If so, how many visits are covered per calendar year?
- Do I have a deductible for these services and, if so, how much is remaining?
- What is my co-insurance payment or co-payment for outpatient mental health services?
- If I go out-of-network, what is the portion of the fee for which I am responsible?
- Will my plan cover services by an out-of-network mental health provider? (Typically, this is a percentage of "reasonable and customary.")

Obtaining the answers to these questions will assist you in making an informed financial choice about your therapy.
